Hyundai Repair: 98 sonata front pas door wont open, old spring, latch

i was able to get the door panel off and open the door. the latch spring broke. i want to know how to get another spring for the latch. thanks kevin

You might try going to your local hardware store with the old spring to see if they can match it up with something they have or can get.  

You won't be able to purchase this spring separately at a parts supplier or the dealer; it's not available separately from the latch.
