Hyundai Repair: how to program a keyless remote, 2004 hyundai elantra, hyundai elantra

I have a 2004 Hyundai elantra, need a new keyless remote and I can get them online cheaper than the dealer. where is the remote receiver and how do I get to it and program the new remote, also what is a fascia.

Accessing the ETACS module (the receiver for the remote is inside) will not assist you in programming this remote.  Remote programming on this vehicle cannot be done without the dealer scan tool (or another scan tool programmed with this capability).  There's no issue with buying online, but you'll probably still need to go to the dealer for the programming.

The fascia is the trim piece around the radio and instrument cluster.
