Hyundai Repair: ? about my tiburon, crank sensor, secondary ignition

i have a 97 tiburon 5 speed when i shift gears it spits and sputters and after driveing it a lil while when shut off and then try to start it just cranks over and over and then it finial starts but spits and sputters please tell me what i can do to fix it

This could be a problem with the secondary ignition (plugs, wires, coil) or even the fuel pump or crank sensor.  You'll need to run some tests to determine the nature of the problem.  As badly as you seem to indicate the vehicle is running, I'd presume the check engine lamp would be on and there would be diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) stored in the engine control module (ECM) indicating the issues seen by the ECM.
