Question
i have a problem my car it idles and revs fine out of gear but as soon as i start to drive and put my foot on the accelerator it try to cut out .i have changed the camshaft and crankshaft sensors but still no change would like some advice pls

Answer
There are a couple things to check:

-- Check the air bellows between the air flow sensor and the engine to be sure there are no holes in it and that it's secure at both ends.  If the air flow sensor doesn't see the change in air flow, it can cause the condition you describe.  The reason this will happen when in gear but not at idle is typically that the engine will move more in gear, causing a hole to open up or th ebellows to pull off.

-- Check the fuel pressure.  Only a small amount of fuel is required to run the engine at idle.  Much more is necessary to accelerate in gear.  If the fuel pump is unable to provide the required amount of fuel, the fuel pressure will drop below the minimum required to operate the engine properly.

-- Check for a significant exhaust leak in the front exhaust.  I've seen this cause some weird performance issues if the leak is prior to the front oxygen sensor.
