Hyundai Repair: windscreen, hook holder, razor blade

Question
I need to replace a windscreen and need to know how to remove it from the car

Answer
After removing the exterior trim around the windshield, you'll need special tools to cut the sealer around the edges.  From what I can tell, the basic tool is what looks like a razor blade in a hook holder to reach around the windshield edge and cut the sealer.

Based on personal experience, if you do not have practice with the necessary tools, it's worth the money to pay someone to replace the windshield.  I saved about $60 U.S. replacing the windshield in my Toyota myself, but it took me all day and included a great deal of aggravation.
