Hyundai Repair: cigarette lighter fuse blows, cell phone charger, cigarette lighter fuse

my cigarette lighter fuse blows when I replace it.  I do not use the lighter only to use it as cell phone charger.

Answer
If the fuse blows when the charger adapter is unplugged, there's a short somewhere in the wiring or lighter socket.  Be sure to check the lighter socket for something metallic in the bottom.  Dimes and pennies are about the right size.

If the fuse only blows when the adapter is plugged in, the problem is in the charger adapter.
