Hyundai Repair: sensor & g/unit, 2000, Hyundai

i have a 2000 hyundai sonata that needs a sensor for water temp. put on. i have the part but don't know where it goes. can you help?

Typically the water temp sensor is located near the thermostat housing. The downside is I am not sure where the thermostat housing is located on either one of the engines that came in the 2000 Sonata. Hopefully this will point you in a somewhat correct direction though.
