Hyundai Repair: sante fe 2001, las vegas casinos, paint expert

Ive just been told my air con compressor is what is making the noise coming from my engine and that it could finally go and cause power steering to fail etc, should i change it now (which Ive been told is expensive) or risk it and hope it goes on for years yet.

i am so sorry to have to make this "dad" or "husband" type decision for you but i would have you ask yourself:  do you feel lucky, EVERY time you get on the road that your power steering is not going to go out in the middle of a turn with oncoming traffic or a mother pushing her baby stoller or you figure out what scenario your conscious will let you live with. Perhaps if you really are that lucky you may try Las Vegas casinos and win enough money to fix, yes, a rather expensive but typical automotive maintenance repair.

However, i do not know where you live and if you live in alaska, there may be a less expensive way to just do away with air conditioning in your car... i am not sure how much $$$ that will save you without consulting an authorized hyundai dealership service manager, who is probably the only person on earth that can guarentee such repairs.

I signed up on this website as an auto paint expert. I do not know why folks are asking me mechanic questions.  I can assure you i have painted thousands of cars of people who's luck ran out and they had a wreck and probably, at least half could have been avoided if that person did some maintenance on their car like replaced bald tires or fixed bad breaks or maybe you can think of some personal situation where somebody's luck could run out. Frankly, there are thousands of these old stories.  I would guess you are not very old.  I have gray hair.  Most people do well to listen to Dad - he is usually trying to give you good advice, you know: been there, done that or knows somebody who did.
