Hyundai Repair: Replace side passenger mirror, 2003 hyundai sonata, flat screwdriver

Question
I need to replace the side passenger mirror on my 2003 Hyundai Sonata.   The mirror was shattered.  I need to know if this is something I can replace myself, and if so, how do I do it.  Again, I only need to replace the mirror, nothing is wrong with the outside holder.

Answer
Hello Jill,
If you be careful and gentle , you can replace it. Mirror is attached by 4 plastic clips to the motor. Gently pry each clip  out one by one by using a thin flat screwdriver between the mirror and motor. Once you remove the mirror, you will see 4 seats that will hold the clips on the motor. Lube the 4 clips on the back of the mirror and gently push it towards the motor. You need to hear 4 clicks as each clip snaps in. You can check if they all attached by pulling all 4 sides of the mirror out.
