Hyundai Repair: Santa Fe front end noise, new generation, santa fe

My 2001 Santa Fe has had front stabelizer bracket and bushings replaced twice under warranty. I want to know if this is something I can replace myself since the warraty is over

Hello Tim,
To replace those parts , front subframe needs to be dropped. It is not easy due to the weight of the subframe and you will need a pole jack and a lift.But, they came up with a new type of stabilizer bushing which is wider and smoother couple years ago. I am pretty sure that dealer installed those new generation bushings and you won't have to deal with it.
