Hyundai Repair: 2006 Elantra front end noise, rear struts, rear stabilizer

Question
Our 2006 Elantra Hatchback automatic w/44,000 miles has just started making a kind of screeching noise in the front end.  It is not a belt squealing type of noise, and it is intermittent.   This started occasionally this week and today happened quite often on the way home.  It happens when going over small bumps, sometimes when turning or braking.  It kind of sounds like dry rubber bushings.  It happened enough that I stopped twice today and checked what I could under the front end.  Nothing obviously loose or hanging.
It does not vary with speed, happens at parking lot or cruising speed.  It is NOT constantly repeatable, when I got home I played games going over the curb into the driveway and it would happen sometimes, but not constantly or at a certain angles.
I will try to get it on a lift tomorrow and also schedule it for at the dealer, but would appreciate any ides on what to look for.
Am I looking at dry/worn bushings or is it something more sinister?
There are no lube points on the front end (or car) that I am aware of, but honestly except for gas and oil this car is just driven, not worked on like my toys.

Answer
Hello Matt,
You are right ,there are no lube points on this vehicle. We had squeek noise problems on 2004 and 2005 elantras caused by rear stabilizer bushings. Also you might want to have your rear struts checked. Make sure both upper and lower mounting bolts are tight and springs are sitting correctly. Let me know the result please.Thanks.
