Hyundai Repair: speedometer and tach, hyundai sonata, ground connections

I have a 1998 Hyundai Sonata. Friday night the speedometer and tach quit working. Parked the car,went to get it today and it was working until we turned on the air conditioner. Then both gauges were erratic. The blinker caused the same thing to occur.

I think you have a poor ground problem. All the ground connections behind the cluster should be checked. Try to see if they are tight and clean. When you turn the a/c on, ground can not feed all of these components and cause that erratic gauge problem.
