Hyundai Repair: Door locks, door locks, latch

Question
I have a 2001 Santa Fe with a rear passenger door that is locked and will not open from inside or out. How can I get it open. All others work as designed.

Hello Jim,
You have a stuck latch on that door.You can take the door panel out while the door is closed (hard but possible). After the panel is out you will be able to lube the latch. Before you start taking the door panel out, I reccommend you to remove that side's seat. It will give you enough room to work.
