Hyundai Repair: 2001 hyndaui sonota GLS V6, side exhaust manifold, catalytic convertor

the auto parts store diagnosed my car as having an o2 sensor out. the check engine light code says it's bank one, sensor one. i am not a car do it yourselfer but if it's easy i can handle it. just wondereing where it's located on the exsaust, and how i would go about changing it. thanks for any help.

Hello Derek,
Since you have a V6 engine you have 2 banks. One on the firewall side which is Bank 1, other is the radiator side which is Bank 2. Every  bank has 2 O2 sensors. one on the exhaust manifold which is sensor 1 or upper sensor and the other one after catalytic convertor which is sensor 2 or lower sensor. You can reach the bank1/sensor1 O2 sensor from the bottom only. It is located on the firewall side exhaust manifold right underneath the intake surge tank.
