Hyundai Repair: Lantra power door locks, hyundai lantra gls, power door locks

I have a 1999 Hyundai Lantra GLS sedan. The power door locks work fine but recently the indicator lights which flash when locking or unlocking started to fail & now do not work at all within the door lock/unlock function. They all work fine in their prime function (ie. turn signals). Can you suggest a cause for the problem ?

Hi Peter,
Since 99 elantras did not  come with factory installed alarms , I think you have aftermarket alarm system. They usually have seperate fuse for the indicator lights. It should be near the alarm control module. Look above the pedals underneath the steering column. If the fuse is ok then probably control module is malfunctioning.
