Hyundai Repair: 97 Hyundai Accent wont start, crankshaft position sensor, fuel pump relay

My daughter drove her accent to her boyfriends and when she came out her car would not start. Its not the battery and tries to turn over. I think it is not getting gas for some reason. Any suggestions on what I should look at first? Thank you for your time, Rob

Hello  Rob,
Try to jump start with another vehicle.Sometimes battery can rotate the engine but can not start. That will help you to eliminate the battery for sure. If that does not help then you might have one of these:
1- Bad crankshaft position sensor,
2- Faulty fuel pump or fuel pump relay,
3- Broken timing belt.
