Hyundai Repair: sonata 2001 6 cyl. power steering pump, power steering pump, pulley

how difficult to replace pump and the pulley seems to be bolted to shaft. does pulley have to be pressed on or is just bolted on?

Answer
This is one of the easier pumps to replace.  Simply remove the hose, unbolt the high pressure line, remove the belt, and unbolt the two 14mm bolts holding the pump in place.  The pulley is splined and bolts onto the pump shaft.  If you purchase a factory pump, it should come with a new pulley already on it.
