Hyundai Repair: hyundai sonata airbag, hyundai sonata, clock spring

Question
I own a body repair shop and after replacing blown air bags and the module on a 1996 hyundai sonata the airbag light stays on. Can youtell me how to clear the light?

Answer
You'll need to read the trouble codes from the module to see why the indicator is on.  You won't be able to clear the light until all problems are repaired.

Although this isn't necessarily the cause of the indicator lamp, Hyundai's policy on repairing the restraint system after deployment is that the following must be replaced:
-- All seat belts and buckles worn during the collision
-- All deployed air bags
-- Air bag wiring harness
-- Air bag control module
-- Clock spring
