Hyundai Repair: 1997 Hyundai Accent Washer Motor, hyundai accent, windshield washer

Question
My windshield washer stopped working in my 1997 Accent. The water is full and it was working intermittently. I am going to order a new motor but do not know how to replace it. Any help appreciated.

Answer
First, remove the two screws attaching the fender liner under the washer bottle to the front bumper cover.  Pull the fender liner down and out of the way.  You should now be able to see the washer pump.  Simply pull the pump horizontally out of the washer bottle (and get out of the way quickly).  Once the washer fluid stops running out, disconnect the electrical connector and the pump hose.  Then, install the new pump in place and reconnect.  Last, reattach the fender liner and add washer fluid.
