Trans feels like it is slipping when you accelerate quickly.  Auto Zone put device on that said it was a trans. sensor. Is this possible/ & what sensor?

Depending on what you mean by "slipping," yes this is indeed possible.  Unfortunately, there are several sensors that could cause transmission problems.

I'll need some more information to be able to tell you what may be wrong/what steps to take next.  Mostly, I'll need to know the actual trouble code numbers that are stored in your engine control module (ECM) and transmission control module (TCM).  The device AutoZone used should report these codes.
