Hyundai Repair: 1998 Sonata, drl module, multifunction switch

Question
Dad has a 98 Sonata, headlights keep coming on when car is shutdown, all switches off, new multifunction switch, have to pull fuse or relay to disable. Bad relays? This problem is intermittent.

Answer
If this is a U.S. model, you've either got a stuck closed relay or some bizarre electrical problem backfeeding power to the lamps.  The coil side of the headlamp relay should be powered only when the ignition switch is on.

If this model is equipped with DRL (not available in the U.S.), I'd primarily suspect the DRL module.
