Hyundai Repair: 2000 accent dies when idleing, throttle position sensor, air flow sensor

Question
I have a 2000 Accent in which I recently replaced the coil, spark plugs, wires, fuel filter and pcv value. Last night after being stuck in about an hour of stopped traffic my car would just die when it came to idle rpm. It had been running great. It will start right back up and stay running if I floored it but as soon as the rpm when under 800 it dies again. After, the 2nd or 3rd time it died the engine light did come on. It runs fine if you are just driving normal and not stopping but then you would come to a stop sign and it would simply turn off again. Any ideas?

Answer
The problem could be with the throttle position sensor, the idle system, the air flow sensor, or something mechanical in the engine.  Your first step should be to read the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) from the engine control module (ETM).  This will probably give you a good idea of the nature of the problem.  AutoZone and AAMCO have advertised they'll read your trouble codes for free.
