Hyundai Repair: Hyundai Elantra, hyundai elantra, window move

Hi. The rear window on my Hyundai Elantra is stuck down. We removed the door panel and checked for power to the (don't know what it's called - little white box that has power) and it was working. We tried to manually lift the window but it would only go up about three inches before catching. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure what you're referring to by the white box.  But I may be able to answer your question if I have some more details.

1.  Does the window move at all when you attempt to operate it?
2.  If so, can you describe the noises you hear?
3.  What year is your Elantra?
4.  Is the white box the window switch or the window motor?
