Hyundai Repair: radio codes, hyundai sonata, 3x3 grid

I just bought a 1995 Hyundai sonata and the radio is not working can you tell me the code and how to get it to work?

I'll need some additional information to determine your radio code.  While holding in the "band" button, turn the radio on.  A series of dashes (and perhaps the number 1) will be displayed.  The dashes are displayed in a 3x3 grid.  I'll need to know which of the nine positions have a dash and whether the number 1 is present to the left of the dashes.
