I am trying to put after market headers on my car but the a/c compresser is in the way to take out the stock exaust manifolds. what can i do?

My intention was to look at a v6 Tiburon and let you know what appeared to be the easiest method for this, but unfortunately, there weren't any at my general disposal to look at.  

I have only two thoughts:
-- If there's enough room, you may be able to remove the radiator and take the manifold out the top.
-- Otherwise, you'll probably need to at least unbolt the compressor and move it out of the way.  If that doesn't provide anough access, you'll probably need to evacuate the system, take the a/c lines loose, and remove the compressor from the vehicle.
