how do I remove the glove compartment on a hyndai sonata

This will vary by the year of the car.  In general, you'll need to disconnect or remove the device that keeps the glove box from continuing to open and then remove the screws at the bottom of the glove box.

Also, if I recall correctly, some resistors are accessible from underneath, so removing the glove box may not be necessary.
