Hyundai Repair: 2001 Hyundai Tiburon, hyundai tiburon, clock spring

Question
My daughter rear ended a car and the air bags did deploy.  We have also noticed that the seat belts are locked up.  Is there any way to fix them or do we have to replace them?

Answer
The seat belts cannot be repaired.  They've locked because the pretensioners in the seat belt retractors fired to help hold your daugther (and any front seat passenger) in their seat(s).

According to Hyundai, the following repairs need to be made to the air bag system:
-- Replace all deployed air bags
-- Replace all deployed seat belts
-- Replace any seat belts and buckles worn in the collision.
-- Replace air bag control module
-- Replace clock spring
-- Replace air bag wiring harness
