Hyundai Repair: Spark plug & wiring, hyundia sonata, platinum plugs

Question
Hi,
I have a 2001 Hyundia Sonata with 2.5l V6 engine, I have a P0302 code and wanted to replace all the plugs and wiring,
since the platinum plugs range from $3 to $10 each and the wiring from $35 to $65 a set, I have no idea if the higher priced items are worth the difference.
Could you tell me the proper type plug and wiring I should use.
Thank you,

Answer
I'd recommend using a reputable brand spark plug such as NGK or Denso.  These should be available at your local parts store.  If you're purchasing the correct plug in one of these brands, you should be okay.  I'd be surprised if you cannot find one of these brands in the $3 a plug range.

I recommend only factory plug wires, however.  Most wire sets I see in parts stores are of low quality, even in what the stores call their higher-line wire sets.  You'll probably pay more than $65 for the factory wire set from the dealer, but I think you'll be disappointed with the fit and performance of the others.

Considering the amount of work required to change the spark plugs on your engine, it's important that the installed products last a significant amount of time.
