Hyundai Repair: 2002 XG350L Eight Disc CD Player, disc cd, cowling

My 8 disc cd player, located in the trunk stopped working. I took the car to the dealer and since I had 37K miles they were going to charge me a lot of money to replace because it was only covered to 36K.  There is a cowling over the CD player that I want to remove so I can get my cd's out of the console (they are stuck in the cartridge).  Can you help me on how to get this off?  I don't see any screws and it won't just lift off.  Thank you very much!

If I recall correctly, the plastic trim just snaps off.  Then you'll need to unbolt the cd changer to remove.

Also, if I recall correctly, there's a reset button on the cd changer.  Try holding this in for five seconds (with key on) to see if it will eject the cd's.
