Hyundai Repair: 2006 tucson 2.7 4wd, crank sensor, warranty service

Question
Hello I've been having problems with my 2006 tucson. It is a 4wd 2.7l. It is shutting down every so often. It is not sputtering just stalling completely. It seems to be doing it on deceleration only though. It is very random. Some days it will some it won't. It is stalling  when it is in park and it has done it a couple of times in drive but  only at around 5k or so. I have changed the fuel  filter oil filter and air filter and it is still doing it. Any thoughts? Thank you

Answer
It's possible you have a defective crank sensor, but without supporting evidence, that's not much more than speculation.  Presuming you're still within the warranty period, I'd recommend taking it in to the dealer for warranty service.  It's possible there are trouble codes stored which may provide information as to the nature of the problem.
