Hyundai Repair: 2001 Tiburon factory cd player, factory radios, aftermarket radio

The factory cd player in my 2001 Tiburon stopped working.  The radio and display work fine.  I can hear some sound when I attempted to play a cd, like it's trying to read it. The display even shows CD1.  No error messages appear on the display.  I have checked the fuses under the dash and they are all in good condition.  Any thoughts?

The problem is inside your radio.  There are no components inside that are generally serviceable by people outside the electronics repair world.  Even then, I've seen about 50% of Hyundai radios returned "not repairable."  I think the parts to repair are often simply not generally available.

Your best bet is probably to buy an aftermarket radio/cd player and install.  In my opinion, the factory radios are of poor quality and are far overpriced for what they deliver in terms of performance.
