Hyundai Repair: 2001 hyundai accent, engine vibrations, hyundai accent

i have a vibration at idle but goes away on accelaration.it does not have a vibration any other time.only at idle.

Answer
There are three basic possibilities:
1.  Your engine is excessively vibrating.
2.  Normal engine vibrations are transmitted excessively.
3.  What you're feeling is a normal condition.

Without feeling the vibration, I probably cannot tell you whether it's normal or whether it's from the engine or mounts.  I'd recommend taking the car to your local dealer for them to check.  The reason I'm recommending the dealer is so that you'll have someone looking at the car that's familiar with the characteristics of the product.  Other places/mechanics may not have the familiarity to know whether the vibration is normal.
