Hyundai Repair: Hyundai Fuel Tank Air Filter - 2005 XG350L, charcoal canister, tank air

Question
I have a 2005 Hyundai XG350L.  The owners manual says to inspect the Fuel Tank Air Filter at 15,000 miles and replace it at 30,000 miles.  The dealer service rep says that he doesn't know anything about this.  Could you tell me where the part is and how easy it is to replace?

Answer
I believe Hyundai is referring to the Charcoal Canister filter.  It's located with the canister at the left rear corner of the vehicle.  You'll need to remove one or two 12mm bolts/nuts to lower the canister assembly.  You'll then need to separate the canister close valve from the filter and snap it off the canister.
