Hyundai Repair: elantra without reverse, range switch, transmittion

I have no reverse in my transmission its like nutrual now, it has now movment from the car at all. what could it be? the hole transmittion is shot or can it be done an earier way.

Presuming you have an automatic, chances are greatest that your transmission needs to be overhauled or replaced.  Before reaching that conclusion, however, inspect the shift cable for proper adjustment and the range switch for proper operation (i.e. indicating the proper gear).
