Hyundai Repair: Hyundai Accent, hyundai accent, valve seals

Question
I have a 2002 Hyundai accent, recently it developed a crack in the cylinder head due to heating, and water is leaking trough the number 2 combustion chamber, the shop recommended to replace the cylinder head it self, after replacing the cylinder head, the cylinder 2 developed oil in the combustion chamber, the car spew out white smoke during first gear acceleration, but disappear later, it usually happened during acceleration from idling, the shop again recommended to replace the valve guide valve reseat and valve seals, after doing so the oil is still present in the exhaust, now the shop is telling me that probably I have a broken piston ring, I was wondering, that with the old cylinder head, even when there is water in the cylinder 2, I do not have oil burning, I mean no white smoke, just bad idling and occasional rise in temperature, but after all the repair, I have white smoke in the exhust.

could you please advice me on what is really wrong with my car.

thanks cezar.

Answer
Was a new or used cylinder head installed?  If new, I'd suspect that the cylinder block may have been damaged from the overheating.  If used, I'd suspect that there was a problem with the cylider head that was installed.

Any opinions I offer, however, are nothing more than speculation.  Someone who inspects and tests your engine will be able to offer a more accurate diagnosis than I'm able to offer via this medium.
