Hyundai Repair: tiberon power failure, slow blow fuse, hazard light

Question
I was driving along and all of a sudden the radio and heat went off, then check engine light and then when I stopped at a red light the car stalled. The hazard light was even losing power. I Left it overnight and went out and it started. Today I started it and let it run and when I went back out it had stalled and now won't start. The battery is brand new.
What is wrong?

Answer
It sounds like your alternator isn't charging.

If you can jump start the car, check the voltage at the battery terminals with the car running.  It should be between 13.5 and 15.5 Volts.  If it's lower than that, the alternator isn't charging properly.  In that case, check the main slow blow fuse.  If it's good, replace the alternator.
