i attempted to change the brake discs on my lantra but have got to the point where im stuck how do i extract the hub to get the disc out? (front discs only)

Answer
You'll need a hub puller tool.  It has a body with holes that go over the lugs for attaching, and a hole in the center for a screw to press against the axle shaft.

Beware, however, as this process often separates the hub bearing, requiring its replacement.  That'll mean you need to remove the entire knuckle and have the old bearing pressed out and a new one pressed in.
