Hyundai Repair: 2004 tiburon wheel bearing, tiburon wheel bearing, wheel hub

Question
On FWD vehicles, is the process of removing the front wheel bearing pretty much the same:  Pull knuckle, press out old, press in new?  Or is a Tiburon (04) different?  What is a closed bearing?  I was told the Tiburon has one.  Is the removal/install different?

Answer
You've got the process about right.  Once you get the knuckle off, you must remove the wheel hub and a snap ring.  Then you can remove the bearing.

"Closed" refers to the fact that the bearing is sealed and does not need periodic lubrication.  The bearing used in the '04 Tiburon is indeed closed and has two rows of balls, making it a double ball bearing.
