Hyundai Repair: MAXIMUM VELOCITY AT 3RD. GEAR.., hyundai sonata, maximum velocity

Question
I'M DRIVING MY HYUNDAI SONATA 2000 (AUTO TRANMISSION)
ON 3 (1,2,3,D) I WANT THE KNOW THE MAXIMUM VELOCITY FOR A SAFE DRIVING ON 3 WITHOUT HURTING THE TRANSMISSION.
I'M HAVING PROBLEMS WHEN DRIVING IN "D" WHEN IT GETS INTO THE FOURTH GEAR.(ABS/TLC LIGHT GOES ON) . THANK YOU

Answer
You're not likely to damage the transmission, but continued high rpm operation may damage the transmission or overheat the exhaust.

You're okay to run the rpm's as high as the red line, but for continued driving, you should probably limit the rpm's to under 4,000.
