What does "error code 1" mean when I put a cd into player? Everytime I put a burnt or regular cd into the deck it says "error code 1" and spits it back out. Canada.

According to Hyundai, Er1 means that power was off when the cd player was in "auto-change" mode.  The listed remedy is to cycle power to the CD player (i.e. remove the fuse or disconnect the battery).  I'd recommend leaving power disconnected for 10 minutes in an attempt to get everything to reset.
