Hyundai Repair: 2000 Hyundai Elantra, windshield wiper blades, hyundai elantra

I have a 2000 Hyundai Elantra. The ball joint connection that controls the windshield wiper blades have become disengaged. The protective boot has come off. I have removed the plastic grill but the ball joint is not easily accessible. Would you please advise me how to repair this problem. Thanks

Presuming this is the joint at the motor, you'll need to unbolt the motor and pull it out.  Slip the rod through the motor hole and then snap the motor ball into the socket.

If this ball joint is elewhere in the linkage, you may need to remove the linkage assembly to get enough room to snap it back together.
