Hyundai Repair: 1999 Hyundai Sonata, hyundai logo, hyundai sonata

Question
Driver and front passenger door won't unlock. Even if the car has been running for 45 minutes.  Door will open, but once car is started and doors auto-lock--they won't unlock.  Have even tried to use key to unlock door.   Getting very frustrated,  hard to climb into back seat to get out of car

The locking system on the 1999 Sonata was not designed to lock the doors automatically.  The first step is to figure out why the doors are locking.  

Is there an alarm system on your vehicle?
Has a keyless entry system been installed?
If either is present, is it a factory system?  If so, it should have a Hyundai logo on the key fob.
