Hyundai Repair: Timing Belt Priority, 2003 hyundai elantra, 2004 hyundai sonata

Question
My wife and I both own a Hyundai and I wanted your opinion as to which car to replace the timing belt on first.  My wife has a 2003 Hyundai Elantra GLS (2.0L 4 cyl.) with 60K miles on it.  I have a 2004 Hyundai Sonata GL (2.7L V6) with 68K.  My question is this: Even though the Sonata has 8K more miles on it, should my priority be to replace the timing belt on the Elantra?  I have read in previous posts that the timing belt is much more of a concern on the 4 cyl. engines.  You input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bryan.

Answer
Neither one of these engines is hard on timing belts.  The Elantra has yet to reach or has just reached the time interval, and has just reached the mileage interval.  The Sonata is already 8k over the mileage interval.  I'd recommend doing the Sonata first and then the Elantra.  There's little reason to be overly concerned about either.
