Hyundai Repair: Hyundi Sonata 98 Fuse work, hyundi sonata, spare fuses

Question
I have a Hyundi Sonata 98 model and the blinkers have stopped working i have been told it is probably a fuse on investigation of the fuse box under the steering wheel have found that the fuse cover is missing so wouldn't have a clue which fuse to change. Please help desperate.

Answer
I believe the diagram I seen in the schematic is rotated.  If I recall correctly, there are two columns of fuses, with a row of spare fuses at the bottom.  If that's the case, the fuses for the turn/hazard lamps should be the third one down in the left column and the top one in the right column, both 10A.  If in doubt, simply check them all.

I doubt, however that the issue is a fuse.  Most frequently, the problem is in the hazard switch or the flasher relay.  Try cycling your hazard switch several times.  Then check to see whether your turn signals work (key on).  If so, you'll need a new hazard switch.
