Hyundai Repair: 01 Elantra manual, electrical failure, alternater

Question
Dear HT
about the noise:
it's a squeaky sound like metal scratching which runs periodically with a period less than 1 second.
and
as you push the gas downer, the period between each two sounds becomes shorter until at some rpm the sound disappears. Then you can loose the gas a little without the sound reappearing.
However, if at first, you donot push the gas hard enough to make it disappear, it seems to go away anyway as the car warms up and the time this process takes seems to depend on the temperature outside.
what causes the blowing?
what can we conclude if the fuse is not blown? -------------------------------------------

-----Question-----
Dear HT
I'm a foreigner so you might find some of my expressions not accurate, hope you know what I mean.

Bought 3 months ago
it's been lacking electric power all the time (I could hear the noise)

one time: it misfired after I turned off the engine for only a few minutes and next day I could start it with a jump starter but it couldn't provide itself enough power to drive. So I changed the battery and then the alternater as mechanics told me.

It had been good for a while, but still I could hear the noise when pushing gas until the rpm reached high enough

Now, the same thing happened again...

I think you should know that both 'deaths' occured when a new driver was driving: first time me, this time my friend, which means the car would start and shut down a lot. I'm guessing this might be one of the reasons.

anything appreciated!
thank you so much!

The only thing a driver should be able to do which would cause an electrical failure would be to leave something on while the car was off.  That would cause the car's battery to run down while off.  But I doubt that's your issue since you say the car won't stay running.

I'm curious about this noise that you're hearing while you drive.  There is typically no noise associated with the type of failure you describe.  Please describe this noise for me so I might understand what it could be.

In fact, except for the noise, it sounds mostly like an alternator problem.  Check the large fuse that's bolted into the underhood fuse box.  It should have a clear top and be about 100A or so.  If this fuse is blown, your alternator won't be able to keep the battery charged.

Answer
The noise you describe may be from the drive belts.  To check this, spray just a little WD-40 or similar lubricant on the belts.  If the noise changes, it's coming from the belts.

If the fuse is in good condition, then you'll need to begin checking the charging system.  The fuse can blow because someone connected jumper cables backward or touched the main alternator wire to something metal while the battery is still connected.
