Hyundai Repair: my new 03 tiburon, engine computer, tiburon

i just got a 03 tiburon have had had it for one week it is a gt model with exhaust its been lowered also. well i was on my home from the club  tonight i hit a little bump and all the sudden my ck engine light came on. i was wondering why that was it only has 36000 miles and its a v6. is there a 36k like ck up i need to do or what i checked everything is there something particular i need to do to get it off or what could there be a problem

The check engine lamp indicates that the engine computer has detected a malfunction.  You'll need to have the diagnostic trouble codes read to find out the nature of the problem.  

You should still be within five years of the original delivery date, so I'd recommend taking the car to the dealer to have it looked at.  Keep in mind, though, that if the problem has occurred because of the modifications to the car, you'll need to pay the dealer for their time and work.
