Hyundai Repair: Malfunction Indicator Light, malfunction indicator light, tiburon 2005

My Tiburon (2005)just turned 20,000 miles and the Malfunction Light turned on. Is there really a problem or is this just pre-programmed to come on at this time for a service check? If it is a pre-programmed light, how do I turn it off?

The malfunction indicator lamp means that the engine computer has detected a problem with your vehicle.  You should take the car to the dealer to be checked.  If the lamp is not flashing and the car seems to be running normally, it should be okay to continue driving until you can take it in for service (within a reasonable amount of time, say a week or two).
