Hyundai Repair: Diagnostic connector, diagnostic connector, hyundai excel

Question
Hyundai Excel 94. The diagnostic connector doesn't have any pulse at all. The ECM was replaced but the problem is still there.

Answer
Hi, Waheed.  I'm not sure if your question here is a follow-up to a previous question or if it's new.  To give you reasonable assistance, I'll need to have some background information.

Why are you attempting to read the diagnostic pulse; i.e. what symptoms are displayed?

How were you attempting to read the diagnostic pulse?

What made you believe the ECM was bad?

It's possible that you were attempting to read the codes incorrectly, but there are many other possibilities as well.  I've made a diagram of the diagnostic connector below, including anything relevant to checking diagnostic trouble codes.  But I'm having trouble getting everything to line up in the font that's used on this site.  The vertical lines should be directly lined up one over the other, with an opening two holes wide in the upper half of the diagram.  I know this may be confusing.  You can see a better diagram in the shop manual at www.hmaservice.com.  You'll need to register for a free account, and the site requires Internet Explorer.
