Mi auto Sonata 2000 cuando esta frio y lo enciendo se me apaga, la aguja de las RPM se va a cero y como que se acelera, despues de varios intento ( 3 o 4), ya no se apaga, tambien he notado que la luz de check engine se enciende

One possible cause is that the purge control valve is stuck open, allowing fuel vapors to enter the engine when the car is off and creating a flooded condition when you try to start the car.
