2003 Santa Fe 2.4 automatic transaxle

Is there not a trans filter to be changed along with the fluid?  I only find info on changing the fluid in factory service manual.  Is this not a recommended maintenance item?

Answer
The filter in your Santa Fe's transmission is not intended to be serviced.  It's deep inside the transmission and cannot be changed without removing and disassembling the transmission.  

When transmissions of the type used in your Santa Fe were first introduced, they had a screw-on filter on top of the transmission, but that filter was deleted early in the 2001 model year production.
